For this project, I developed a custom AI image-generation workflow in ComfyUI designed to solve a major pain point in creative production: executing high-end visions on a low budget. This pipeline allows art directors or brands with limited resources to take a simple, unpolished snapshot (e.g., taken on a phone in an office) and instantly transform it into a magazine-ready editorial photograph, while maintaining the exact original composition
Elevating the Unprofessional: By securing the composition via the depth map, a completely amateur photo can serve as the skeleton for a high-end shoot. The user simply inputs a text prompt to define the styling, lighting, and environment.
Creative Flexibility: This allows for rapid, cost-effective art direction. An ordinary test shot can be transformed across diverse variables—changing the model's ethnicity, swapping a living room for a rainy street in New York, or shifting from midday to golden hour—without losing the intended layout.
These images are unedited created with a simple prompt structure:
[appearance] man wearing [outfit] standing in [place description].
[appearance] woman wearing [color] dress standing in front of a canal in [city] next to stacks of cheeses.
